Big news!

In a week, I am going to meet Rachel Caine! I was chosen as BTL's guest blogger-- I was surprised because I never expected to, you know, be chosen-- and I'm going to a breakfast on 5th May, at 7.30am in the Sydney CBD. Means I have to get up at like 4am to make sure I get to the place on time and don't get lost. Kinda nervous!!

So I'm interviewing her for BTL (Betweent the Lines, it's a YA thing Penguin Australia has going) and I. Am. So. NERVOUS!! Guys, I need you help. I just emailed BTL, confirming that I was able to go (can you guys believe my parents let me? I'm 16 and in high school still, and missing school for this... ahh! Need to buy some nice clothes!) and told them my age. I hope they don't, you know, let me go on account of school or something. *fingers crossed*

Okay, so I'm supposed to get more info on this and hopefully guidance, but I need some advice! For those of you who've done this sort of thing before... what was it like? How did you come up with good questions? How should I interview her?? Ahh. I'll update you guys when I get more info!

Oh, and have I mentioned I read the first four book back in October and have forgotten what happens? I'm not past book four!! AHH. Have to buy them all and hope I don't go bankrupt. D:

I was asked to attend the same breakfast. I'm still interested, but it's REALLY early. And like you I don't know exactly where that place is. I don't think there are age restrictions, even though it is held in a hotel (?).

I'm still contemplating going, but I'm thinking no because I have uni and it's really early. :/ Was kind of nice to be given the opportunity though. And I just read Glass Houses and loved it.

I’m going to the one in Melbourne on the 8th. Feels good to be able to drive everywhere now and not have to catch the train and walk to where I need to go. Even though the training has been a twice daily routine for me for the past two years.

Oh well! I’m looking forward to next Sunday :) but I also got another authory event which I’ve been organising for Wednesday with Marianne de Pierres and Alison Goodman...I’m just so literate :P

Congratulations Alice and hope you have a great time, no advice because so far have not had the opportunity to do something like this... What a great way to start though by getting together with Rachel Caine!
